Gentlemen, Allison and I want to thank you for all that you did in the design, construction, and completion of our new home on Coppergrove Court. We are extremely pleased with the finished project.

As first time homebuilders, we were leery about not only trying to construct something that would meet our demanding personalities, but also about doing this with two individuals about whom we knew nothing. After spending the last 12 months working on this project with you, we are truly appreciative of all that you have done for us and of the high quality work product of Groeneweg Builders.

At the outset of our home design, we had literally hundreds of ideas and a limited sense of direction from the research that we had done. However, Steve Groeneweg worked tirelessly in designing, redesigning, and refining our ideas. His input was extremely helpful. He was insightful at discerning what we really wanted, yet at the same time tactfully injecting his thoughts and ideas to fully flush out what we would enjoy most. We cannot say enough about Steve’s ability to emphasize quality and convenience, while at the same time paying attention to cost and overruns.

Once the actual construction began, we were somewhat reticent about whether we would continue to receive the same quality service. Again, however, we could not have been more pleased with your efforts on our behalf from the initial placement on our lot through the continued follow-up after we moved in. We are convinced that the art of construction lies within the manipulation and management of a wide variety of employees, subcontractors, and regulators. Tom did this exceedingly well. At the same time, he regularly offered constructive suggestions that would again maximize use, efficiency, and enjoyment of our house.

Allison and I appreciate how both of you not only encouraged our active involvement throughout the entire process, but did not hesitate to tell us when something really needed to be done a certain way. Those abilities have resulted in our thorough satisfaction with the finished product.

At the same time, we want to express our gratitude to everybody from Steve Walcott to Cheryl Postumus to the balance of your employees. All of these people were helpful, thoughtful, polite, and overall pleasant to deal with.

Steve and Tom, we have already recommended your services and will not hesitate to do so in the future. If there is anything that we can do to reciprocate, please let us know.
