It is with great joy that I write this letter commending the superb work rendered on my 135-year-old kitchen by your company Groeneweg Builders. Finding the right builder had turned into a tangled mess for both my husband and myself. Time was passing and after six bids, we had found no solace. In retrospect it is amusing to think about the way we discovered Groeneweg, but I believe it is worth mentioning. After following up on personal recommendations, and getting nowhere, my daughter, Alexis, got on the Internet and brought up a website that helped individuals looking for kitchen renovators. In less than 15 minutes I was setting up an appointment with Mr. John Fuller.

All the rest is history. Mr. Fuller interviewed me and found out exactly what we wanted to accomplish. Very soon after, he sent out a kitchen designer. My husband and I especially like the idea of individuals from electrical, heating, and plumbing companies checking out the premise to ensure we knew exactly what needed to be done in our particular situation. I remember clearly the day we signed the contract and the anxiety I harbored right after. I asked Mr. Fuller what he felt would be the big surprise that would add extra dollars to our project. He replied that after removing a wall that separated the laundry room from the kitchen, we might encounter some support problems. Having been prepared, it was no surprise when he informed us new ceiling beams would have to be installed.

Another plus, was the ongoing communication between the company and us. Every time prices ran over or under the predicted bid, we were consulted and a discussion ensued. Nothing was done without our approval and once we settled on something my husband was faxed the change order and signed it. Everything was out in the open with our approval.

The gentlemen who did the remodeling were fantastic, I can’t say enough about their concern and workmanship. They were congenial and behaved in a most professional manner. If we asked questions, they took time to explain what was going on; they gave us complete answers and never made us feel our queries were unimportant. At the project termination, we knew their names and valued their opinions.

Our big project is finished and I keep saying to my husband "I love my kitchen." When people out this way inquire as to how I like my kitchen, my reply is that it is more than I ever envisioned.
